The European Parliament elections will take place this Sunday. Therefore, we decided to find out what political parties and individual politicians think about cryptocurrencies. We asked leading parties in Poland and politicians who have shown interest in this topic so far about their stance towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Unfortunately, we did not manage to get answers from Robert Biedronio's Spring, the representatives of the Confederation and the Kukiz '15 movement. In the case of the Confederation, however, we can assume that the position is positive, which was repeatedly confirmed in the media by MP Jacek Wilk. Law and Justice From the PiS camp, MP Wojciech Murdzek told us about his position on cryptocurrencies and their technology: Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are certainly still something that surprises many people, including politicians. It seems that still - despite the passage of years - there is often a lack of knowledge to assess this phenomenon. Certainly, the emergence of the first regulations changes the state of affairs and shows that the capital involved and the number of users cannot go unnoticed. Cryptocurrencies at the same time reveal the huge potential of blockchain technology and show the future of this type of solutions. It is necessary to create as friendly a legal framework as possible to allow the safe and consistent use of these solutions. It seems that this also involves the need for international cooperation and adaptation of national regulations so that there are no differences.
