The OneCoin website has disappeared from the web. This probably marks the final end of one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in the history of cryptocurrencies and the financial market. The portal mainly offered so-called "educational packages". The OneCoin.EU website is now unavailable. However, the site still stores OneCoin token balances. What adds spice is that the site disappeared just a few days after reports that company employees removed leftover items from OneCoin's offices in Sofia. Recall also that the creator of the alleged pyramid, Ruja Ignatova, is still at large. There are concerns that she has managed to change her identity and appearance. OneCoin: life after life However, the problem is not going away. New incarnations of OneCoin are appearing online. For example, the OneLife.eu website is still active. In turn, OneWorldFoundation.eu is also unreachable, as is OneWorldAcademy.eu. The sites and their records are reportedly currently being analyzed by the service. The investigation into OneCoin is ongoing. Today, the case is being investigated in the US, Germany, Austria, Finland and Hungary, among others. After a thorough analysis of the site's records, it will be possible to know the exact number of project participants, their balances and possible transfers of funds. An additional challenge is that OneCoin has no public blockchain or other such public record. Behind bars in the US Meanwhile, Konstantin Ignatov, Ruja's brother, is being interrogated by the services in the US. He faces 90 years in prison. Meanwhile, it seems that other project leaders and groups associated with the program remain active. OneCoin has reportedly managed to raise as much as $4 billion from investors. On top of that, its creators have laundered hundreds of millions of dollars through lawyers and offshore accounts. The pyramid scheme appeared on the market a few years ago, when BTC was beginning to be the buzz word. Its scale - as you can see by the amounts - exceeded the results of BitConnect. OneCoin operated virtually worldwide. Against the alleged pyramid in Poland warned for example Polish Bitcoin Association, writing a letter to Zbigniew Ziobra, Minister of Justice and prosecutor. The MP Mirosław Suchoń's office (Nowoczesna) also prepared an interpelation on this issue. It is not known how many people in our country have been cheated.
