A journalist investigating "Newsweek" on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto already in 2014 presented information that she believes can help expose the anonymous creator of Bitcoin. Dorian Nakamoto - he's supposed to be behind the world's first cryptocurrency. Dorian Nakamoto is Satoshi? Recall that journalist Leah McGrath Goodman published in 2014 an article suggesting that Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto, a 64-year-old American of Japanese descent and resident of Southern California, was the creator of Bitcoin. He himself denied it. McGrath Goodman is an award-winning reporter who has published articles in newspapers and magazines such as the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Fortune and the Guardian. Now she was a guest on Anthony Pompliano's podcast, to whom she said she still believes Dorian created BTC. She herself began researching the topic of Bitcoin in 2013. Her investigation into the creator of the cryptocurrency led her to Southern California, where Nakamoto reportedly formally changed his name in 1973 from Satoshi Nakamoto to Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto. The journalist notes that Nakamoto worked as a physicist and engineer, working for decades on secret projects for both the military and private sector companies. She also interviewed members of his family who indicated that he was a libertarian who distrusted the government and banks. In addition, she pointed out that Dorian writes lyrics in a similar way that Satoshi did. When the reporter visited his home in Temple City, California, Nakamoto called the police. Either he was annoyed by her work, or... he's hiding something "I'm not involved in this anymore." What is surprising, however, are Dorian's words when he spoke to the police and the reporter: "I am no longer involved in it [BTC] and I cannot talk about it. BTC] was given to other people. Now they are responsible for it. I have nothing to do with it anymore." Police present at the scene later confirmed that Nakamoto had said exactly those words. On top of that, he reportedly pretended to be largely unaware of what the journalist was referring to, even though he had previously spoken to her about cryptocurrency. McGrath Goodman also reminds us that there is a file that suggests Satoshi was located in California, and theoretically it could have been Dorian. "Before the official launch, [when] they were just trying to get it [BTC] up and running, there was some file corruption. At one point Satoshi texted Hal [Finney] and said: "Send me the data so I can find out what went wrong." And the latter was supposed to send it to Satoshi, but instead Hal posted it publicly on the forum so everyone could look at it. And [the data] had an IP address in it that led us to the same neighborhood where Dorian lives, in LA," - concludes the journalist. Tags bitcoin Dorian Nakamoto Satoshi Nakamoto
