Does anyone still remember the words of politicians from the government about a budget without deficit? Unfortunately, today it is already a dream. As a result of the crisis, Poland is forced to get into debt. Poland will get into debt - Tomorrow we will present a plan, concerning both the coming week, and we will outline our proposals for the next phases of the change in tightening for the next few weeks, more or less until mid-May - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said yesterday. He also added that the debt of our country will increase. - We will increase the public debt, because the state budget, the public debt are the main mechanism for stimulating the economy, they are the main fiscal stimulus, financial stimulus - he said. Anti-crisis shields Debt is now, in a way, a requirement to get out of the crisis - so says the ruling camp. It is worth noting that an anti-crisis shield worth PLN 100 billion in subsidies (including PLN 60 billion in non-refundable funds) supporting over 670 thousand enterprises has already been announced. In addition, another anti-crisis shield worth ca. PLN 212 billion came into force at the beginning of April. The government is working on its additions. Among the ideas, there is a complete exemption of cryptocurrency transactions from the PCC tax. Is the whole world going this way? Today, most of the world is increasing debt to get out of the crisis. The US alone is implementing $2 trillion worth of aid programs. However, will this solve the problem? Some experts, such as the famous Trader 21, stress that a better solution would be to leave the matter to the free market, i.e. let some of the less profitable companies fail and let the market go through a kind of purgatory. After that we would have a chance to rebuild the economy on healthy foundations. However, the vision described above is unrealistic. For a simple reason: there are no politicians today who would promise voters "blood, sweat and tears". In return, we will probably receive social programs. - Every epidemic, pandemic, or war afterwards creates special conditions. Of course it comes at a high price, but in a way it equalizes the chances of countries, e.g. in development, economic race, creates space for deep reflection and makes it possible to reorganize the state in many areas - claims Robert Anacki, deputy chairman of Covenant, co-founder of blockchain startup Tecra. - It can also be assumed that in this huge tragedy, which is ongoing and will have repercussions for many years or even decades, Poland can slightly shorten the distance to those economies that we have been chasing for years. What final decisions will politicians make? We will find out soon. Tags politicians Poland
