Bitmats or bitcoin ATMs are becoming increasingly popular and their number is constantly growing. Currently, there are already over 600 bitcoin ATMs around the world and the average daily number of them is about 2-3.     Bitmats or bitcoin ATMs are becoming increasingly popular and their number is constantly growing. Currently, there are already over 600 bitmachines around the world and daily average is about 2-3 more.   The largest concentration of bitmachines is in North America. The record holder is the United States with 275 bitmats and Canada - 100 machines.   The second continent with the highest density of bitmachines is Europe. Here the record holder is the United Kingdom (33) then Spain (18), Finland (15), the Czech Republic (12) and Austria (12). Unfortunately at the end of the list is Poland with 2 bitmachines currently operating in Warsaw.   Coin ATM Radar   The next continent is Asia. There are 43 bitmart machines located in Asia. The country where you won't find bitmachines is Russia, where the use of bitcoin has been banned since 2014. Bitcoin is considered illegal in Russia as a money substitute and the use of illegal currency and its issuance is punishable by a high penalty, according to recent proposals of the Minister of Finance, up to 4-7 years in prison. Bitomats also cannot be found in India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.   Then Australia and Oceania(27), South America(2) and Africa with only one Bitomat in South Africa (Johannesburg).   Coin ATM Radar   The clear leader in terms of bitomats produced and currently in operation is the American company Genesis Coin (180). The second position is also held by the American Lamassu(140), followed by the Czech GeneralBytes(86) and the Canadian BitAccess(68)   Coin ATM Radar   The majority of bitmobiles are unidirectional (60%), i.e. only allow the purchase of BTC.
