Bitcoins (BTC for short) can be bought and sold on online exchanges. You can find a summary of the rates on each exchange at bitcoincharts.com. Currently the largest and most popular is bitstamp.net. Polish exchange where you can exchange BTC into PLN is pln.bitcurex.com. The principle of the exchange is that after registering and logging in you place an order to buy or sell at a certain price. If your order matches the order of the opposite party the transaction is executed. Buying or selling operations are charged according to the current price list of the exchange and do not exceed 1% per transaction. For withdrawal of funds from the exchange fees are also charged. When registering on the exchange we may be asked to send some personal identification data (e.g. ID card, confirmation of residence, utility bill). Another way to exchange BTC for other goods or currencies is to ask on the forum ( forum.bitcoin.pl), you can e.g. sell something for BTC or exchange BTC for PLN. Tags
